Scholarship Description
Founded in 1996, The Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF) is the only foundation dedicated to enhancing the value and relevance of document and graphic communications worldwide.

The EDSF scholarship program was initiated in 1999 to recognize and support the next generation of professionals for the Document Management and Graphic Communication industry. The industry encompasses the wide range of businesses and professionals involved in the creation, management, production, distribution and storage of print and electronic documents.

EDSF awards and administers the following scholarships: Document Management and Graphic Communications Industry Scholarships; OutputLinks Communications Group Sponsors Scholarships; AND Kimi Kai Memorial Scholarship.

Since 1997, the Foundation has awarded 444 scholarships in countries including Australia, Belarus, Canada, China, Dubai, Iceland, Italy, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russian Federation, Turkey, United Kingdom and the United States.

Eligibility
EDSF scholarships are awarded to full-time students who are committed to pursuing a career in the Document Management and Graphic Communications marketplace.

Selection criteria:
The scholarships are awarded based on scholastic achievement, honors received, participation in school activities and community service and organizational affiliations.

Eligible groups
Citizens of various countries have been awarded at different times.

The Award Value ranges from between $1000 - $5,000 USD depending on the scholarship category an applicant is successful with.

EDSF's scholarship program enables students to receive the education necessary to pursue careers in the document management and graphic communications industry, while providing much needed assistance in offsetting the ever increasing financial burden.
