Scholarship Description
The University of Westminster, in partnership with the International Students House, jointly awards the International Students House Scholarships for international students from developing countries.

The International Students House was founded for the betterment of international understanding and provides a unique social, cultural and recreational centre for international and British students alike.

Eligibility
You must be an international student from a developing country, including middle-income countries, and hold an offer for a full-time Masters degree at the University.

You must NOT be from any of the countries listed below.

Selection criteria:
Selection is based on the following criteria:
  • degree equivalent to a UK First Class Honours degree, 
  • financial need and 
  • development potential.
Eligible groups
Citizens of ALL Developing Nations (i.e. all countries EXCEPT the following:
Andorra, Australia, Canada, Gibraltar, Iceland, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, San Marino, Singapore, USA, Vatican City, and all member states of the European Union.)

Any FULL TIME masters degree level course of study offered at the University of Westminster

Number of awards
Only two grants will be awarded in the 2016/2017 academic session

Sponsorship duration
This tuition waiver scholarship is applied throughout the duration of your program of study

Scholarship benefits
The value and amount of this award includes your FULL tuition fee waivers, accommodation at International Students House, living expenses and flights to and from London.

Method of Application
To apply to this scholarship, you need to download and complete the required application forms. Please note that you should only apply for this scholarship once you have applied for admission and been successfully offered a place (either conditional or unconditional) on the course you wish to study.The University cannot process your scholarship application if you have not been offered a place on a course of study.

The University of Westminster is a public research university in London, United Kingdom. Its antecedent institution, the Royal Polytechnic Institution, was founded in 1838 and was the first polytechnic institution in the UK. Westminster was awarded university status in 1992 meaning it could award its own degrees.
