Scholarship Description
Lincoln College at the University of Oxford offers the Overseas Graduate Entrance Scholarship to postgraduate international students for the 2011/2012 academic year.

This scholarship is intended for graduates who already have some other form of financial support. Candidates should have attained a high standard in their previous academic work.

Lincoln College Overseas Graduate Entrance Scholarship

Eligibility
Candidates from any University outside the United Kingdom and the European Community entering the first year of a higher degree in any subject.

Applicants must hold a place, or an offer of a place, at Lincoln College before applying.

Method of Application
Interested applicants must submit application forms before the deadline date below.

Candidates should ask one referee to write directly to the Senior Tutor, care of the Admissions Office, at Lincoln College in support of their application; this should be a person who is familiar with their academic work, and the reference should be written specially for this scholarship application.

DEADLINES:
All applications, accompanied by supporting documents, must be postmarked or received by the Lincoln College admissions office on or before the 1st of August 2010.

PLEASE NOTE:
Applications postmarked or received after the deadline date will not be treated.

The award is paid to the successful candidate towards the end of the calendar year of application, and it is usual at this point for the successful candidate to write a letter of acknowledgement and thanks to the Trustees from whom the award comes.
