Scholarship Description
The University of Edinburgh will offer the Edinburgh Global Online Distance Learning Masters Scholarship for students offered a course study by the University.

The Global Online Distance Learning Masters Scholarship will be available to postgraduate students pursuing any distance learning Master's programme offered at the University.

Qualified applicants from eligible countries are encouraged to apply. Each scholarship, which is full tuition, will be awarded to students who satisfy the following below-set conditions amongst others.

University of Edinburgh Global Online Distance Learning Masters Scholarship

Eligibility
To be eligible, applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh and should have firmly accepted that offer or be intending to do so. The scholarship awards are for students who are accepted for admission into any of the below-listed eligible distance learning Master's programmes at the University of Edinburgh.

Applicants intending to study a distance learning PgCert are only eligible to apply if that PgCert is part of a distance learning Master's programme. Applicants should check this with the relevant School.

Applicants must be both nationals of and resident in any of the countries listed below.

Scholarship Criteria:
The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent.

Citizens of the following countries:

Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Dem Rep), Côte d'Ivoire, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia (The), Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, India, Kenya, Korea (Dem Rep), Kyrgyz Republic, Lao PDR, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mongolia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, São Tomé and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Timor-Leste, Togo, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen (Rep), Zambia, Zimbabwe

Each scholarship will have a total value of and cover the full tuition. This is a FULL tuition award.

Method of Application
Eligible applicants should complete an online application. Please note you will not be able to access the online application form unless you have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh. The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd, the university's web based information portal. When logging in to MyEd, you will need your University User Name and password.

The closing date for applications for these scholarships is 2nd June 2017.
