Scholarship Description
Students from countries outside the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) are charged tuition fees at the IT University. The IT University of Copenhagen offers state scholarships to exceptionally talented MSc applicants (full-degree students) from outside EU and EEA every year.

Note that students from countries within the EU/EEA, those on bilateral exchange programmes (e.g. Erasmus), US students with a Fulbright scholarship, and those who started studying in January 2006 or earlier are NOT charged tuition fees at the IT University.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be from a country outside the EU and EEA. You must be admitted to a full time MSc Programme at IT University of Copenhagen. Remember to apply for admission into the MSc programme before the announced deadline.

The scholarships will be offered to the applicants who achieve the best scores according to the criteria in the admission rules of the university.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must hold a bachelor degree or the like, and must have English level corresponding to the Danish B level. More on English proficiency and lanuguage test can be found on the official website.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Three or four applicants from outside EU and EEA will be sponsored every year

Sponsorship duration
It covers tuition fee for the whole duration of your MSc studies - two years full study

Scholarship benefits
The state scholarships consist of free tuition and partly covering of living expenses

Method of Application
Applicants cannot apply for the scholarships. The IT University considers all admitted MSc students for the scholarships and informs the students chosen for the scholarships in their letter of admission. Therefore, you must apply for admissions to be considered for the scholarship.

You apply for the Master of Science programme online. You must also upload all your documentation in the online application system. It is your responsibility that you enter the system correctly and send your application before the deadline. You will receive a confirmation that the IT University has received your application.

DEADLINES:
All applicants can apply from the beginning of January. The application deadline for all applicants is 1st of March 2018

PLEASE NOTE:
You will be notified as an EU/EAA applicant by 10th of June; or as a non-EU/EAA applicant by 1st of June.

If you receive a scholarship, you will have to follow and pass full time studies.
