Scholarship Description
Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) in the USA, a partnership between Indiana and Purdue Universities, is Indiana's premier urban university. The school offers several undergraduate and graduate scholarship opportunities for international students.

The scholarships include the Major-Specific Scholarships, Admission-Based Scholarships (for Beginning Freshmen AND Transfer Students), Competitive Scholarships and Other Scholarship Opportunities (like the IUPUI Housing Stipend).

IUPUI is Indiana's premier urban university, with 21 schools and academic units which grant degrees in more than 200 programs from both Indiana University and Purdue University.

Eligibility
Generally, for all the scholarships, the following must be satisfied:
  • All scholarships require full-time enrollment (12 credit hours or more per semester) in the fall and spring semesters.
  • If you take the SAT or ACT examination more than once, the highest scores will be used for scholarship consideration.
  • Funds provided by these scholarships do not cover intensive English as a Second Language study.

Method of Application
To apply to this scholarship, you must have applied for courses at the school(s), see the Online Undergraduate Admissions Application and Online Graduate and Professional Admissions Application. Please note that you must satisfy both the GENERAL and SPECIFIC scholarship criteria of the different scholarship programs and/or opportunities offered by IUPUI to International students, to be considered and offered a scholarship. A separate scholarship application is not required for scholarships.

DEADLINES:
Admission-Based Scholarships For Beginning Freshmen - Submit your complete application for admission by February 1. Admission-Based Scholarships For Transfer Students - To be considered for a transfer scholarship, submit your complete application for admission by March 1 (Fall Enrollment) or October 1 (Spring Enrollment). Competitive Scholarships - All competitive program recipients must begin studies in the fall semester as a beginning freshman. All applicants must apply for admission and for scholarship by November 15 (of the previous year). Major-Specific Scholarships - Has variable deadlines, however, generally between February 1 and March 1.

PLEASE NOTE:
For the Admission-Based Scholarships For Beginning Freshmen - Students may receive only one of five possible scholarships AND a separate scholarship application is not required for scholarships.
