Scholarship Description
Stellenbosch University South Africa offers Bursaries for Honours, Masters, Doctoral, Postdoctoral (International) in the department of Botany and Zoology for the 2012/2013 academic session.

Several bursaries are available to conduct research on various aspects of managing new invasions as part of the Working for Water / South African National Biodiversity Institute Early Detection and Rapid Response Programme.

Project running expenses will be covered separately and will vary depending on the project. Where the candidate is based and registered will also depend on the project and candidate.

Eligibility
Candidates must be pro-active, enthusiastic, and interested in doing excellent research that can make a difference.

Student bursaries are open to all South African citizens, and post-doctoral research bursaries are open to anyone who has completed their PhD in the last five years.

Honours students will also need to apply separately to a university honours programme.
