The Department of Sociology offers a graduate program dedicated to enhancing students’ knowledge of the societies in which they live, while increasing their ability to think independently and critically about important social issues.

Eligibility
To apply for this program, the following must be met:
- Must be a graduate student in Sociology who has finished his/her first year of graduate studies at Lakehead University and is proceeding to a second year as a full-time graduate student.
- The proposed research project must be in any ONE of the following areas: Sociology of Medicine Sociology of Aging Ethnicity and Migration
