Scholarship Description
A former Wellington Polytechnic employee, Tony Drakeford, prior to his death in 1975 established a memorial trust to offer scholarships. These are the Tony Drakeford Senior Memorial Scholarship and the Tony Drakeford First Year Memorial Scholarship.

These Scholarships for Graduate Students are for the applicants of New Zealand in the field of Accountancy, Financial Accounting, and Management Accounting as offered by Tony Drakeford at Massey University in New Zealand.

Massey University is happy to be associated with the Tony Drakeford Memorial Trust scholarships, and invites all qualified students to send in applications. Scholarship eligibility is below.

Eligibility
To be eligible, the following should apply to applicants:
  • Students enrolled on the Wellington Campus who have completed (180 credits) by the end of Semester 1 in the second year of the Bachelor of Accountancy and must include papers 110.209 Financial Accounting and 110.229 Management Accounting.
  • Is a full-time student enrolled in the Bachelor of Accountancy on the Wellington Campus
  • Is a domestic student
  • Should be attaining high grades in all papers
  • Completed 180 credits including 110.209 and 110.229

Method of Application
You must have applied for admission into Massey University, and offered an admission (conditional or unconditional). Then, you would need to indicate interest by sending in your application by post. The recipient will be selected by the Head of School of Accountancy.
