Scholarship Description
The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) calls for PhD Scholarship for research in Sea Level Changes from Satellite Altimetry. Scholarship will be funded by both the DTU and The European Space Agency.

The National Space Institute at DTU (DTU Space) invites applications for a 3-year PhD position, starting in 2011 on the subject of Sea Level Changes from Satellite Altimetry.

The PhD study will focus on studies of regional sea level changes derived from satellite altimetry and the impact on sea level monitoring in coastal and ice-covered regions through improved recovery of accurate sea level information.

Eligibility
Candidates should hold a M. Sc degree or equivalent academic qualifications.

Preference will be given to candidates who can document skills in areas such as physical oceanography, geodesy and remote sensing. Furthermore, English proficiency is essential.
