Scholarship Description
Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) is charged with keeping the province of Trento in the mainstream of European and international research.

It does so by attracting women, men and resources at the forefront of technological development and humanities studies. The foundation is also involved in bringing together natural and human sciences, a sign of recognition of the challenges faced by the knowledge society.

PhD positions are currently available within the Data & Knowledge Management (DKM) research unit of the FBK. These PhD positions are among the grants of the ICT International Doctoral School, University of Trento. This call is under project specific grants with FBK and will be jointly supervised by FBK and the ISTC-CNR, Laboratory for Applied Ontology, Trento.

Applicants must be aspiring Doctoral students from any country of the world.

Courses in the field of Applied Ontology.

Ph.D thesis are developed within the DKM research unit of FBK, an international and interdisciplinary group of about 15 people doing both research and projects in the area of data analysis, knowledge acquisition, representation, integration and reasoning.
