Scholarship Description
International Scholarships are awarded for full-time undergraduate study at the University of Westminster. You can apply for a scholarship if you have been offered either a conditional or unconditional place but please note that you must apply for the scholarship before your course starts.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for these scholarships, you must first have been offered either a conditional or unconditional place on an undergraduate course at the University of Westminster. Most offers of scholarships will be made conditional on students achieving required grades, which is usually a higher standard than the entry requirements for the undergraduate course.

University of Westminster Scholarships for International Students:

Diplomatic Scholarships

Amount: Reduces tuition fees to £4,000

Eligibility: You must be a child of a diplomat currently stationed in the UK and from a developing country. You must hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at the University. In addition to your scholarship application form, you must provide a letter from your embassy or high commission verifying that you are a child of a diplomat stationed in the UK, and that your government is not offering a contribution toward your tuition fees. The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Criteria: Academic excellence.

EHWLC International Business Programme Progression Scholarship

Amount: £2,000 fee waiver

Eligibility: You must be an international student (non-EU) on the International Business programme at Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College and hold an offer of a full-time undergraduate degree at the University. The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Criteria: Academic excellence.

The Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College is an Associate College of the University of Westminster.

Full Fee Waiver Scholarships

Amount: Full tuition fee waiver

Eligibility: You must be an international student and hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at the University. The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Criteria: Academic excellence

The University offers a number of full tuition fee waiver scholarships to you if you are an exceptionally well qualified student from outside the UK/EU. Please note that this covers tuition fees only, not living expenses or accommodation.

Half Fee Waiver Scholarships

Amount: Half tuition fee waiver

Eligibility: You must be an international student and hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at the University. The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Criteria: Academic excellence.

The University offers a number of half tuition fee waiver scholarships to you if you are an exceptionally well qualified student from outside the UK/EU.

Ken Bird Memorial Scholarship

Amount: Full tuition fee waiver, accommodation in the International Students House London, living expenses and flights to and from London.

Eligibility: Preference will be given to you if you are a female student from India or Sri Lanka and hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate degree in a technology based subject at the University. The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Criteria: Academic excellence, financial need and development potential.

Part Fee Waiver Scholarships

Amount: £2,000 fee waivers

Eligibility: You must be an international student and hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at the University. The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Criteria: Academic excellence.

The University offers a number of part scholarships (£2,000 fee waiver) to you if you are an exceptionally well qualified student from outside the UK/EU.

University of Westminster and Scindia School (India) Scholarship

Amount: Full tuition fee waiver, accommodation at the International Students House London, living expenses and flights to and from London.

Eligibility: You must be a scholarship recipient from Scindia School, India, or Scindia Kanya Vidvalaya and hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at the University. The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Criteria: Academic excellence, financial need and development potential

University of Westminster Full International Scholarships

Amount: Full tuition fee waiver, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London

Eligibility: You must be an international student from a developing country and hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at the University. The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Criteria: Academic excellence, financial need and development potential

These are the University of Westminster’s most competitive undergraduate scholarships, as each year hundreds of bright students from around the world apply.

Method of Application
Apply for scholarships only after you have been offered a place (conditional or unconditional) on a course at the University. Please do not apply if you have already enrolled or begun a course of study at the University of Westminster.

Please note:
The Scholarships Office aims to notify students of the result of their scholarships application before the date on which they have to make their final choice of university, usually May.

Please note that expectations of academic excellence and creativity may vary slightly from course to course, depending on course entry standards. This is to ensure that scholarships are fairly spread across the university’s courses and not clustered in high entry qualification areas.
