Scholarship Description
The University of Westminster offers the Cavendish Research Scholarships for international students from any developing country of the world wishing to undertake a research degree (an MPhil or a PhD) in the Faculty of Science and Technology of that University.

The Cavendish Research Scholarships are targeted at those international students from developing countries, and for the purposes of this scholarship, ‘developing’ countries include middle income countries.

Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply well ahead of the deadline date.

You must be a student from a developing country. For the list of developing countries, please see below.

You must hold an offer for a full-time MPhil/PhD degree at the University’s Faculty of Science and Technology.

Selection Criteria:
You must have a qualification equivalent to a UK First Class Honours degree, financial need and development potential.

You should only apply for a scholarship once you have applied for admission and successfully been offered a place (either conditional or unconditional) on the course you wish to study

The University of Westminster is a public research university in London, United Kingdom. Its antecedent institution, the Royal Polytechnic Institution, was founded in 1838 and was the first polytechnic institution in the UK. Westminster was awarded university status in 1992 meaning it could award its own degrees.
