The University of Bristol is delighted to announce the International Office Scholarships for new international students for 2017 entry.
The University of Bristol's International Office Scholarships is open to all prospective international students from around the world and will be applied to any Bachelors or Masters degree programme offered at the University of Bristol.
Please note although this scholarship was not offered to masters students in the just concluded 2016 academic year, the university would be offering this scholarship again for masters students for this year and onwards. Both undergraduate and graduate International Office Scholarship awards will be granted for the 2017 academic study.
To be considered for this scholarship, all applicants must:
- be classed as international/overseas students for fee purposes.
- already hold an offer of a place on a full-time undergraduate or masters programme at the University of Bristol.
- may be from any discipline.
Current University of Bristol students are not eligible to apply.

Number of awards
A total of SIX (6) scholarship awards will be granted for 2017 entry. Ten scholarship grants were awarded for the 2015 academic session: 5 to undergraduates and 5 to masters.
The scholarships will be awarded as a one off tuition fee reduction. For the Undergraduate level, the scholarships will be applied to the first THREE years of Bachelors study; while for the Postgraduate level, it will be applied to the ONE year of Masters program.
The scholarships value are awarded thus:
- 1st place – 1 scholarship of £12,000
- 2nd place – 2 scholarships of £10,000
- 3rd place – 3 scholarships of £8,000
Method of Application
Submit a video of no more than 1 minute showcasing what community means to you. The university will be judging videos primarily on content and secondarily on aesthetics. Please submit your video to firstname.lastname@example.org. For identification purposes please include your application/UCAS number in the body of the email.
