Scholarship Description
The Ampère Scholarships of Excellence provide excellent international students with the opportunity to pursue one of the eligible Masters programs offered at École normale supérieure (ENS) de Lyon in France.

International students are provided the opportunity to enrol in one of the ENS de Lyon Masters programs in the Exact Sciences, the Arts or the Human and Social Sciences (excluding the FEADép Master’s programs).

The Ampère Scholarship is awarded for a Masters Program and a predetermined duration. The ENS de Lyon and its partners welcome applications from eligible candidates.

École normale supérieure (ENS) de Lyon

Eligibility
You must be a foreign national.

You must be 26 years old maximum at the application deadline (born after 11 January 1991).

Candidate for admission in Masters Year 1: provide proof that you have obtained a Licence (equivalent to 180 ECTS European credits) or an equivalent diploma/level recognized by the ENS deLyon.

Candidate for admission in Masters Year 2: provide proof that you have successfully reached Masters Year 1 level (equivalent to 240 ECTS European credits) or have attained an equivalentdiploma/level recognized by the ENS de Lyon (e.g.MPhil).

Masters level studies in the Exact Sciences, the Arts or the Humanities and Social Sciences (excluding the FEADép Master’s programs).

Sponsorship duration
The scholarship award is for a duration of 12 months.

Scholarship benefits
A scholarship value of 1000€/month will be awarded. The Ampère Scholarship is paid to the beneficiary at the end of the month.

PLEASE NOTE:
The awarding and acceptance of the Ampère Scholarship institutes the obligation for the beneficiary to comply with the internal rules and regulations of the ENS de Lyon and to participate with assiduity in the activities prescribed in the Masters Program, notably to take all the examinations.

The ENS de Lyon reserves the right to cease paying the Ampère Scholarship and to demand the reimbursement of sums already paid should the actions of the beneficiary of said scholarship be incompatible with the objectives of the program.
