This scholarship for studenst with disabilities for a Bachelor’s degree programme at Victoria University of Wellington who has attended Te Aro School for at least three years.

Scholarship Description:
The candidate can apply for this scholarship who has attended Te Aro School for at least three years and who is represented in one of the following six targeted groups. Maori students, Pacific students, students educated at decile 1 to 3 secondary schools, students with disabilities, students who are the first person in their immediate family to attend university,students who can demonstrate financial hardship.

Any student represented in one of the above groups and who has not already been enrolled as a full-time student in a degree level programme in a tertiary institution, is eligible to apply.

Within each identified group, applicants must show strong academic potential. The latter will be measured by their achievement standards at NCEA Level 2 or higher, or equivalent qualifications, and as attested by the Head of their most recent educational institution, e.g. School Principal or other recognised referee. Applicants should have achieved a significant proportion of their results at NCEA Level 1 and 2 at least at Merit level or the equivalent.
