Study Subject: Programs focused on identifying and/or remedying reading issues in children, with a particular interest in early intervention programs.
Employer: Mazda Foundation
Level: Research Grants

Scholarship Description:
The Foundation periodically identifies a priority area of focus. The Foundation’s current priority area of focus is Programs focused on identifying and/or remedying reading issues in children, with a particular interest in early intervention programs.

Rather than inviting applications from a broad section of the public, the Foundation will each year identify potential candidates for grants in the Foundation’s nominated priority area.

Each year the independent Board of Directors of the Foundation expects to identify a select number of projects for which an agreed contribution will be made to the approved organisation(s).

Although organisations should no longer apply to the Foundation for a grant, if an organisation has a project which relates to the Foundation’s current priority area, it may register a request to be considered by the Foundation by lodging a Project Notification in the form attached. Such notification may be lodged electronically or by hard copy to the Foundation.

Scholarship Application Deadline: 31 March 2011
