The Edinburgh School of Law is fortunate enough to be able to, each year, make a number of awards for postgraduate study, both at LLM, MSc and PhD level.
The School of Law is pleased to be able to offer the Tercentenary Awards for Excellence towards tuition fees in any LLM or MSc programme offered by the School, starting in September 2014.

The award is open to all suitably qualified applicants who have submitted a complete application for admission (including supporting documents) to the relevant postgraduate programme in the School by the closing date.

Fields of study
Any masters level (LLM or MSc) programme offered at the School, starting in September 2014.
These courses include distance learning programmes, and also the MSc in European Union Politics and Law and the MSc in Global Crime, Justice and Security, both of which are offered jointly with the School of Social and Political Studies.
Number of awards
Five (5) awards will be granted each year
This award is to be applied toward the successful student's tution fee (Editors note -- it is a partial scholarship)
The value of this award is £1,000 towards the tuition fees
Method of Application
Interested and eligible candidates should download an 'Application Form' from the official website (link to it is below). This form should be properly filled in.
Completed application forms should be emailed to email@example.com by the deadline date for submission. Please submit only a single application form but state clearly on the form itself which awards you wish to be considered for.
It is a condition of eligibility that any applicant for an award has also submitted a complete application for admission (including supporting documents) to the relevant postgraduate programme in the School by that same closing date.
In considering applications, the School will have regard in the first instance to this form but may also consider any information, including references, submitted as part of the application for admission. However, to assist the Selection Panel, the form must be completed in full, even where this duplicates information submitted as part of your application. You may copy and paste material from your application as appropriate.
The deadline for these awards is 30th April of every year.
