Scholarship Description
The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC), an affiliate of Northwestern University, is offering one to two-year fellowship in brain injury medicine and rehabilitation.

The fellowship experience will include experience in working inpatient care at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

The Fellowship in brain injury medicine and rehabilitation is for physicians in the field of Brain Injury Medicine, and Rehabilitation provided by The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, USA.

Eligibility
Eligible candidates will have successfully completed a Residency, and be Board Eligible or Board Certified, in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or in Neurology.

Preference will be given to Physiatrists.

The intention to pursue an academic career is strongly desired, but not required.

Scholarship benefits
This Fellowship is designed to be a one or two year training opportunity:
i). year one (the core Fellowship) will have a clinical emphasis, while providing for some research involvement as well. There is the potential for an opportunity to continue on to a second Fellowship year, which would be primarily research-oriented.
11). In order to continue on into a second year of Fellowship training, the candidate would need to identify and secure appropriate research funding.
