  2. Chinese Government-Bilateral Program for International Students
    Chinese Government Scholarship—Bilateral Program includes a full or partial scholarship established by MOE in accordance with educational exchange agreements or MOUs between Chinese government and governments of other countries, institutions, universities and international organizations. It supports undergraduate programs, master’s programs, doctoral programs, general scholar programs and senior scholar programs. Full scholarship includes school fees, monthly allowance, one-off subsidies, insurance, etc while Partial scholarship includes one or some items of the full scholarship items.

  3. Taiwan Government Scholarships
    The Taiwan Government through the Ministry of Education (MOE) offers Bachelors, Masters, and PhD scholarships for international students who wants to study in Taiwan Colleges and Universities through the Taiwan Scholarship Program. The scholarships cover tuition and payment of academic fees and subsistence allowance.

  4. Korean Government Scholarships
    The Korean Government Scholarship Program is designed to provide international students with an opportunity to conduct advanced studies at higher educational institutions in Korea and to develop global leaders and strengthen Korea-friendly networks worldwide.   5. Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme for International Students
    The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme aims to attract outstanding students in the world to pursue their PhD degree programmes in Hong Kong’s institutions. The Fellowship provides a monthly stipend of HK$20,000 (approximately US$2,600) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$10,000 (approximately US$1,300) per year for a maximum period of three years.

    Singapore International Graduate Award are given to international students with excellent academic undergraduate and/or master’s results, and strong interest in doing research leading to a doctorate (PhD) in Science and Engineering at a Singapore University. The award provides financial support for up to 4 years of PhD studies including full tuition fees, monthly stipend, settlement allowance, and airfare grant.

  7. Malaysian International Scholarships
    The Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) for International Students is an initiative by the Malaysian Government to attract the best brains from around the world to pursue advanced academic studies in Malaysia. The scholarship aims to support Malaysian Government’s effort to attract, motivate and retain talented human capital from abroad. Each scholarship consists of air tickets from recipient’s capital city to Malaysia, approved tuition fees, monthly maintenance allowance, annual grant for books and internal travel, medical/health Insurance, installation and termination grant, thesis allowance, and visa costs.

  8. Turkiye Scholarships for International Students
    Türkiye Scholarships are fully government-funded competitive scholarships for international students from countries outside Turkey to pursue full-time undergraduate, master, PhD degree programmes and short-term programmes at prestigious universities in Turkey. The scholarship covers Monthly stipend (600 TL for undergraduate, 850 TL for master and 1200 TL for PhD), Full tuition fee, Free 1-year Turkish language course, Free accommodation, Round-trip air ticket and Health insurance.

Asian University Scholarships

  1. The University of Tokyo Fellowships for International Students
    The University of Tokyo Fellowships provides a research grant to high-achieving, postgraduate international students who are privately-funded to assist their academic pursuits at the University and at promoting a greater acceptance of excellent students from overseas. Recipients will receive a monthly research grant of ¥150,000-¥200,000 during the standard period of their program (up to one year for research students).

  3. The University of Hong Kong Scholarships for International Students

  1. ADB Japan Scholarship Program
    The ADB-JSP scholarship program aims to provide opportunities for qualified citizens of ADB member countries to undertake postgraduate studies in economics, management, science and technology, and other development-related fields at participating academic institutions in the Asian and Pacific Region.
