Charles Darwin University (CDU) offers the Vice-Chancellor’s International High Achievers Scholarships (VCIHAS) to international students from any country of the world seeking to commence an Undergraduate or Postgraduate coursework degree at CDU.
The scholarships are exclusively available to students commencing a degree at CDU, and are awarded on demonstrated academic merit. It offers tuition fee discounts to successful qualifying students. The tuition scholarships apply to the tuition fees for the full duration of an Undergraduate or Postgraduate coursework degree.
Successful students are those who have a record of academic excellence and high achievement. Students must be paying international fees and not domestic fees.
Eligible applicants must:
- A demonstrated record of academic excellence and high achievement in previous relevant studies and qualifications
- Must meet the University’s academic and English entry requirement
- An unconditional offer (SVP cleared) of admission to the degree at CDU for Semester 2, 2016
- Not hold a scholarship from an Australian or foreign sponsoring agency
- Submitted a completed application for the scholarship by 15 April 2016 for commencement in Semester 2, 2016
- Applicants must not hold a current Australian Citizenship, Australian Permanent Resident or New Zealand Citizenship.

CDU offers a limited number of scholarships
Scholarships are for the full duration of an Undergraduate or Postgraduate coursework degree. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress each semester in the degree at CDU, at a Credit average or better (65 – 75%) and with no fail grade in any subject
The value of the awards are 25 per cent and 50 per cent tuition fee scholarships. The tuition fee scholarship will be applied directly upon enrolment each semester.
Students must pay the remaining balance of their tuition on or before the start of each semester.

Charles Darwin University (CDU) is an Australian public university. It was established in 2003 after the merger of Northern Territory University (NTU) of Darwin, the Menzies School of Health Research and Centralian College of Alice Springs and it was named after Charles Darwin, the celebrated English naturalist.
It is a member of the group of 7 Innovative Research Universities in Australia. CDU has campuses in the Darwin suburb of Casuarina, the city of Palmerston, and the towns of Alice Springs, Katherine and Nhulunbuy, with smaller training centres in Jabiru, Tennant Creek and Yulara.
