Scholarship Description
Griffith University offers the Griffith English Language Institute Direct Entry Program (GELI DEP) Scholarship for Outstanding GELI Direct Entry Program (DEP) students.
The GELI Direct Entry Program scholarship is available to all commencing students at ALL levels of study, Bachelors and Masters, at the Griffith University.
All students with citizenship from any country other than Australia or New Zealand are welcome to apply, if they meet other requirements and eligibility.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- be a commencing (not existing) student at Griffith University.
- be enrolling as a full-time student in an undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework only) degree at Griffith University following completion of the DEP program at GELI.
There is no scholarship application required for this scholarship. Griffith International will work with GELI to obtain the details for the top performing DEP students who are continuing their study at Griffith University. One scholarship is automatically awarded to the DEP student who receives the highest grade at each of the Nathan and Gold Coast campuses (total of two scholarships per DEP session).

Scholarship benefits
The value of the award is $1,000 contributed towards first semester tuition fees.
Note: The most outstanding GELI Direct Entry Program graduate each session will be awarded a scholarship of $1,000 towards their Griffith tuition fees.
Method of Application
No applications are required for this scholarship. You need to satisfy the Eligibility and Selection criteria as set by Griffith University (see above). To be considered for a Griffith International scholarship you will need to first apply to study at Griffith. Griffith International will be notified of the scholarship recipient by GELI and the scholarship will normally be awarded at the appropriate DEP graduation ceremony.
