Admission Requirements:
Candidates must have passes in any five (5) subjects at credit level including English Language (SSCE/GCE/NECO) or merit/credit in Teachers’ Grade II Certificate with NCE credit/merit in two relevant teaching or professional subjects. Credit in O/L English Language or merit at Teachers’ Grade IT Certificate is compulsory.

Duration
The programme shall last a minimum of four academic sessions.

Department of Nursing Science

B.) Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc)

Admission Requirements

Applicants must be Nurses registered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (RN/RPN/RM/RPHN, etc).

Applicants must possess West African School Certificate/GCE (or equivalents) with credits in Five (5) subjects obtained at not more than two sittings. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry.
Candidates shall be invited for written entrance examination and oral interview.

Duration
The programme is for five academic sessions.


Diploma Programmes

Department of Fine and Applied Arts

C.) Diploma in Fine Arts

Admission Requirements

Candidate must have passes iii any five(S) subjects at credit level including English Language at the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE), General Certificate of Education (GCE), NECO or its equivalent. Candidates do not necessarily have to offer Fine Arts either in WAEC, GCE or NECO. However there will be a practical examination before the final admission.

Duration
The programme shall last for two (2) academic sessions.

Department of Physical and Health Education

D.) Diploma in Physical and Health Education

Admission Requirements

Candidates must have passes in any five (5) subjects at credit level including English Language at Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)/General Certificate of Education (GCE)/NECO or its equivalent Also, merit pass in the Certificate in Sports Coaching or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution of Learning will be considered Candidates will be required to pass a practical examination/interview before final admission.

Admission Requirements

Candidates must have passes us any five (5) subjects at credit level including English Language and one other art subject at the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE), General Certificate of Education (GCE), NECO or its equivalents. F.) Diploma in Yoruba Studies

Admission Requirements

Candidates must have passes in any five (5) subjects at credit level including English Language and Yoruba Language at the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE), General Certificate of Education (GCE), NECO However there will be written and oral examinations before the final admission.

The programme shall last for two (2) academic sessions.

Department of Dramatic Arts

G.) Diploma in Dramatic Arts

Admission Requirements

Candidates must have passes in any five (5) subjects at credit level including English Language, Literature in English and one other art subject at the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) General Certificate of Education (GCE), NECO However there will be an audition before the final selection.

The programme shall last for two (2) academic sessions.

Natural History Museum
H). Diploma in Conservation Science and Tourism

Admission Requirements

Candidates must have passes in five (5) subjects at credit level in WAEC/NECO/GCE which must include English Language and Biology, in addition to any of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Economics and Geography. In special cases of museum professionals, three (3) credit passes in WAEC/NECO/GCE will be accepted.

The programme shall last for two (2) academic sessions.


Certificate Programmes

Centre for Gender and Social Policy Studies

I.) Non-degree certificate course In Gender and Development Studies


Admission Requirements
Applicant for admission into the non-degree programme should have at least OND or NCE certificate. However, school certificate holders who have acquired enough experience working on development issues (minimum of two years) will also be considered for the programme,

Duration
The course will run for 8 weeks.

Department of Foreign Languages

J.) Certificate course in Portuguese Language: (The only valid certificate Obtainable at the end of this programme Is the CELPE-BRAS certificate awarded by the Brazilian Ministry of Education to all successful candidates).

Admission Requirements
Admission into this programme is open to any candidate with at least five “O” level credits in SSCE, NECO or GCE. It is not compulsory that candidates have any previous knowledge of Portuguese language.
Duration: The programme will last for six (6) months

K.) Certificate course In French Language

Admission Requirements

Admission into this programme is open to any interested candidate with at least Three “O” level credits in SSCE, NECO or GCE. It is not compulsory that candidates have any previous knowledge of French language.

Duration
The programme has been divided into four different categories:
First Level Basic I certificate -2 months
First Level Basic II certificate - 2 months
Second Level 1 certificate 2 months
Second Level 2 certificate -2 months

L.) Post Graduate Certificate Programme In Gender Studies and Social Development


Admission Requirements
Applicants for the Post Graduate professional Certificate Course in Gender Studies must have a university degree from an approved University.

Duration
The course will last for one semester of 3 months.

Department of Preventive and Community Dentistry


M.) Diploma in Oral Health Care

Admission Requirements

Applicants into the professional diploma programme must be health professionals of any discipline experience/trained in Primary Health Care and must have at least 3 credits including
English and Biology.

Duration

The course will run for one (1) academic session.

Application forms are available online on www.oauedl.edu.ng on payment of a sum of Twelve Thousand and Five Hundred Naira (N12,500) through e-transact at any branch of Skyebank Firatbank and UBA.

For programine C, D, E, F, G, H, I, L and M
Application forms are available online at www.oaucdl.edu.ng on payment of a sum of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000 00) through e-transact at any branch of Skyebank, Firstbank and UBA

For programme J

Application forms are available online at www.oaucdl.edu.ng on payment of a sum of Seven Thousand and Five Hundred Naira (N7 500 00) only by purchasing a bank draft in favour of Centre for Distance Learning, OAU Ile-Ife.

For programme K
Application forms are available online at www.oaucdl.edu.ng on payment of Two Thousand Naira (N2, 000 00 per category) only by purchasing a bank draft in favour of Centre for Distance Learning, OAU Ile-Ife.

Submission of on-line forms will close at 12.00 midnight on Friday, 1st of February, 2013.
