Scholarship Description
INSEAD, in partnership with Citigroup, offers the INSEAD Citi Foundation Scholarships to prospective MBA students from countries of the Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The INSEAD Citi Foundation Scholarships have been created to foster an interest in the financial services industry, with particular preference for corporate and investment banking.

INSEAD Scholarships are the most sought-after source of financial assistance. They are limited in number and there is significant competition for each award. These scholarships are granted under various criteria.

INSEAD Citi Foundation Scholarships

Eligibility
Candidates from Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa may apply. In addition, they will need to demonstrate their interest in the financial services industry, particularly within corporate and investment banking.

Preference will be given to candidates who are able to demonstrate their need for financial assistance.

Citizens of ALL countries in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa

Fields of study
MBA Masters level study in ANY field related to the financial services industry, particularly within corporate and investment banking

Number of awards
Two or three awards are made per class to candidates from Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Sponsorship duration
Award is applied to whole duration of successful student study at INSEAD

Scholarship benefits
The amount of the award is approximately €10,000. Successful candidates will be allocated a mentor at Citi soon after the start of the programme.

Method of Application
Application is done online via the official INSEAD website.
Essay topic to submit:
  1. In no more than 500 words present your commitment to a career in the financial services industry. Explain why you believe you should be considered for an INSEAD Citi Foundation Scholarship?
  2. Provide a concise but accurate description of your financial circumstances as well as a cash flow forecast for the year at INSEAD (details of income set against all expenditures).

DEADLINES:
The Scholarship Application Deadline is 13 February for the July Class (starts in September); AND 22 August for the December Class (starts in January).
