Scholarship Description
The University of Nottingham has an extensive scholarship portfolio for international students* which aims to reward excellence and promote diversity among the student body.

These university scholarships aim to inspire students at Nottingham and enable them achieve their ambitions! One of them is the Barbados Undergraduate Scholarship.

The Barbados Undergraduate Scholarship is targeted at winners of the Barbados Scholarships and Exhibitions, who intend to commence full time undergraduate studies at the university of Nottingham.

Eligibility
You can apply for this scholarship if you
  • are a winner of the Barbados Scholarships and Exhibitions in 2015, 2016 or 2017; AND
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes; AND
  • already hold an offer to start a full-time Undergraduate degree programme at Nottingham in September 2017 in any subject area (excluding Medicine and Veterinary Science) – you must have gone firm on that offer by 19 May 2017
In addition to the above, you must also meet the conditions of your academic offer, for your subject area.

The scholarship is for each year of the undergraduate programme, subject to satisfactory progress

The value of the award provides scholarships of 50% towards tuition fees

Method of Application
You must meet all eligibility requirements, including that for your academic offer. You must already hold an offer to start a full-time Undergraduate degree programme at Nottingham. Applications for the scholarship should be made through Mrs Charlotte Furse-Roberts, the University’s representative in Barbados, via email.
