Study Subject: Chemistry or Materials Science
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD degree in Chemistry or Materials Science who is willing to develop frontier research in hollow nanoparticles and nanostructures.
Previous experience on the fabrication and characterization of nanoparticles as well as on their encapsulation and delivery abilities will be required.
The research will be focused on the preparation and characterization of new structures and particles, (with dimensions within the micro-/nanometer scale).
These structures are expected to encapsulate different materials that are active upon application of external stimuli. In addition, their integration into the materials will be explored.
Fellowship Application Deadline: 31/12/2010
